The 2020-2030 decade will be the most ambitious in order to achieve the Goals by 2030, through actions at the local global level and by individuals to generate the necessary transformations in this regard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-info-publications\" dir=\"auto\">In addition to this milestone, in 2016 Costa Rica became the first country in the world to sign the National Pact for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), of which state universities are signatories. From that moment on, individual universities initiated actions to meet the Pact&#8217;s commitments. In 2023, the signatory organizations reaffirmed their commitment to this pact.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-info-publications\" dir=\"auto\">Since 2019, the National Council of Rectors agreed to incorporate in the context analysis and as part of the systemic vision of the National Plan for State Higher Education (PLANES) 2021-2025 the approach to the Sustainable Development Goals. Based on this agreement, joint actions have been carried out by the state universities and Conare to identify the contributions made by these institutions in addressing the National Pact for the SDGs, the results of which can be found in the following published reports.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-info-publications\" dir=\"auto\">Additionally, in the Quality and Relevance and Sustainability axes, the PLANES 2021-2025 action plan included strategic goals <strong>2.5.2<\/strong> and <strong>2.1.5<\/strong> aimed at meeting the commitments acquired and compiling as much information as possible on the actions developed and the linkage for the fulfillment of the SDGs and Agenda 2030.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-info-publications\" dir=\"auto\">An important milestone was the formalization of the SDG Subcommission in 2022, attached to the Commission of Directors of Planning (CDP) in session 3-2022, whose objective is to: Contribute and follow up on the actions that the institutions of the State University Higher Education System (SESUE) generate as a commitment to the fulfillment of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b348bcf e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"b348bcf\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-255e7de elementor-widget elementor-widget-html\" data-id=\"255e7de\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"html.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<article>\r\n\t\r\n\t<p class=\"text-info-publications\" dir=\"auto\">The published documents are available at the following links:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t<ul class=\"list-siesue-publications\">\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t<li class=\"wrapper-siesue-publication\">\r\n\t\t\t<span class=\"description-siesue-publications\">Contributions of Costa Rican state universities and CONARE to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and Agenda 2030.
